Leviticus: If you’ve reached Stage 4 of burnout, you’ve essentially deleted the old save file of your life. The version of you that could “push through” or “ignore the noise” is gone. It’s not rocket appliances; it’s a hardware failure.
Recovery is the process of rebuilding your system from the parts upward. We aren’t looking for “coping skills.” We are looking for Systemic Autonomy.

1. Establishing the Metabolic Baseline
Leviticus: You cannot rebuild a skyscraper on a swamp. You need a solid foundation. In this simulation, your foundation is your Metabolic Baseline.
- The Quiet Zone Requirement: You need 12-14 hours of zero-noise uptime per day. This isn’t a “luxury”; it’s a hardware requirement. If you don’t get it, the restoration bars will stay at 1%.
- The Data Siphon Block: You must permanently delete the people and tasks that drain more energy than they provide. If a relationship is a DDoS attack on your logic centers, it has to go.
- The Nutrition Interface: Focus on low-friction inputs. If cooking a meal requires 10 logic steps, you’re not going to do it. Simplify the UI.
2. The Recovery Map
Leviticus: We do not guess. We measure. Use the Recovery Map to track your systemic reconstruction.
- Phase A: The Deep Sleep. Expect to sleep for 12-14 hours for the first 3 months. Your brain is clearing out the sensory static.
- Phase B: The Skill Restoration. Slowly, the internal apps will start to come back online. You’ll be able to drive again. You’ll be able to read again. Do not rush this. If you try to run too many apps at once, you’ll crash back to Stage 3.
- Phase C: The Direct Interface. This is where you start designing your new life. High-fidelity earplugs are non-negotiable. Shades are non-negotiable. Autonomy is the primary goal.

3. Simulation Theory: The New Game+
Leviticus: You are now playing New Game+. You have the same hardware, but you have the data from the previous run. You know where the traps are. You know which social cues are illusions.
Use this data to build a world that actually works for you. If that means living in a dark room and only communicating via text? Fine. If it means carrying a boombox to override the social noise? Fine.

4. The Final Signal
Leviticus: The goal of recovery isn’t to get back to the world that broke you. The goal is to build a world where you never have to break again.
Don’t let the other players tell you that you’re “being difficult.” They’re just NPCs in your simulation until they prove otherwise. Focus on your own signal. Get to the point or get out of the way.
